Welcome to my  northwoods & city adventures! 

By day, I oversee clinical research programs for a mid-sized global medical device company. I am a City Girl, who shares her heart with the Minnesota Northwoods. My handsome hubby is pseudonym-ed @modernnorthwoodslumberjack because although he works in banking, he looks like Paul Bunyan and hails from the far northwest corner of Minnesota, so far Up North it's almost Canada. He builds me things out of wood, we cook meals together, and spend our free time adventuring. You might find us camping and fishing at the lake,  using power tools, making (gluten free) meals and entertaining friends, exploring the city, or travelling by train, 4 wheeler, pontoon, bicycle, foot, plane, or by 4 wheel drive truck, towing our camper (Sol of the Northwood) to places near and far.
